The sport simply cannot happen without a great team of knowledgeable individuals supporting it. Some of the most important roles happen right at the side of the pitch at the Technical Table. Here is where focus and concentration count; each position is crucial to the smooth operation, from Recorders, Time Keepers, Sub Controllers and Tech Zome Manager, every one is a vital cog in the engine behind the sport.

If you have a great interest in rugby or come from an officiating background and willing to complete online training ahead of the tournament, as well as on the ground then we would like to hear from you. Ball Team & Spotters

Imagine a marquee tournament without the unsung heroes, the ball team and spotters. This team is key to the sport running smoothly and without incident.

The Ball Team must always be on hand for the players whenever a ball is required and requires a lot more concentration that people give credit for. Only those who can remain focused for long periods of time will succeed here.

The spotters are key to the communication of the player scoring - they must always be alert as players congratulate each other to ensure total accuracy. Clear radio communication skills are essential as the messages are transmitted to the Scorer, Broadcast and Commentary teams.
